If you are in need of a new Apple device, then now could be a very good time to go online shopping.
Black Friday has officially started today, November 28, and that means now is the perfect time to grab a tech bargain. Some UK retailers – including Argos and Currys – have been running sales all month with price cuts on TVs, tablets and smartphones. Now it’s the turn of Apple to join the price cut party, with the US firm announcing the launch of its own exclusive event.
Unlike most other stores, Apple likes to do things a little differently. That means you won’t find any eye-catching discounts on iPhones, iPads or MacBooks.
Instead, the Californian company is offering free Apple gift cards worth up £200 when you buy certain products.
For example, buy an iPhone 16 from Apple’s store, and you’ll get a £60 card which can then be used to buy accessories such as cases or cables.
Grab an iPad Air and you’ll get an £80 gift card – that’s almost enough to treat yourself to some AirPods without paying much extra.
Pop a MacBook Pro in your shopping basket, and there’s a £200 card up for grabs.
All of these deals run until December, with Apple confirming, “From now until 1 December, get an Apple Gift Card up to £200 when you buy an eligible product.”
