From hauls worth over £1,000 to edits containing 35 luxury products behind its doors – here are our top picks of the luxury festive beauty countdowns for 2025
For beauty lovers, advent calendars have become just as much a Christmas tradition as a mince pie or rewatching Love Actually for the millionth time. Instead of chocolates, these countdowns contain skincare heroes, makeup must-haves and indulgent treats behind each door, with the contents often worth far more than the price tag.
High-end beauty advent calendars, in particular, have become one of the most exciting launches of the festive season, not least for their huge price to product value ratio. Some boast contents worth well over £1,000, saving shoppers hundreds of pounds on luxury brands.
Of course, with prices ranging from £150 to over £350, these are very much premium indulgences. Thankfully, there are plenty of more affordable options on the market too.

Whether you’re drawn to multi-brand offerings from Cult Beauty, Harrods and Boots, or are loyal to the likes of Liz Earle and Lush – there’s bound to be one for every beauty fan. Here are my top picks of the best high-end beauty advent calendars for 2025.
Liz Earle – Price: £175 (worth £505.10)
The Liz Earle’s 24 Days of Liz Earle Advent Calendar gives customers a chance to sample the brand’s various collections, from Superskin to Glow. Inside, there’s a mix of full-sized icons, travel-friendly miniatures, and limited editions, with 24 surprises in total.
From the brand’s cult-classic cleansers to luxurious creams and aromatic body care, it’s a skincare lover’s dream. Priced at £175, it’s estimated to be worth £505.10, saving shoppers £330.10 on the contents.
One of the strongest draws is the sheer number of full-sized products, with 17 of the 24 items being full sized. Liz Earle includes generously sized favourites like the iconic Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (in both the original and Rose & Lavender editions), the much-loved Instant Boost Skin Tonic, and nourishing creams for day and night.
Cult Beauty – Price: £240 (worth £1,100+)
Arguably one of the most sought-after beauty advent calendars of the year, the Cult Beauty 2025 advent calendar has landed. This year, there are two versions of the calendar – a classic curation and a limited edition option, both of which retail at £240.
Worth more than £1,100, shoppers save a whopping £860, with brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Elemis, Medik8 and Sol de Janeiro sure to get hearts racing. The classic edit is packed with 34 beauty items, 20 of which are full size, and the limited-edition haul is brimming with 40, also 20 that are full sized.
Last year’s Cult Beauty advent calendar did cost less at £195, but as the 2025 version is worth over £200 more, it’s a worthy upgrade and no surprise it’s ‘selling fast’.
Molton Brown – Price: £230 (worth £332)
Molton Brown products add a spa-like experience to any home, and this calendar contains 24 of them, from shower gels and body lotions to perfumes and candles Like most beauty advent calendars, there’s also a huge saving inside too; the calendar costs £230 to buy but the contents inside are worth £332, saving over £100.
In a chic mushroom colour and a gold leaf design, Molton Brown’s calendar strikes the perfect balance between festive and classy. It will look super-luxe stood on your dressing table or counter throughout December, and doesn’t look too ‘young’ either.
While a lot of the same types of products – namely shower gels, body lotions, hand creams and fragrances – it’s all useable stuff, and an excellent way to enjoy some of Molton Brown’s best-loved scents, including Delicious Rhubarb & Rose, Fiery Pink Pepper and Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel. However, some may be disappointed that they’re all travel-sized items.
Boots – Price: £150 (worth £612.50)
For fans of luxury makeup products, the Boots 24 Day Premium Beauty Advent Calendar is an enviable pick. Costing £150, it contains 25 products spread across 24 days with a total value of £612.50, which saves £462.50 overall.
Of the 25 items, 17 are full-sized, with a carefully crafted mix of skincare, makeup, fragrance and haircare from some of the biggest names in the industry. Think cult-classics from Elemis, Estee Lauder and MAC, alongside trending powerhouses like Sol de Janeiro and Milk Makeup
One of the products inside, the Drunk Elephant Protini Moisturiser 50ml, is worth £62 alone, which makes up a hefty portion of the price you pay for the entire calendar. Throw in brands like Nars, Too Faced and Laneige and it’s easy to see how quickly the value racks up.
Charlotte Tilbury – Price: £175 (worth £260)
Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Treasure Chest advent calendar is live and looking every bit as luxe as we hoped. It went live with early access on the brand’s app on September 9, and now it’s launched on the brand’s website. Last year, one sold every minute on its launch day, so this one’s bound to vanish fast.
Priced at £175, this 12-day countdown delivers a mix of cult favourites and newer launches, now stacked with five full-size treats (up from just two last year) alongside seven deluxe minis. Expect the likes of Pillow Talk Lip Cheat, Collagen Lip Bath, Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara, a Beauty Light Wand and even Charlotte’s Magic Cream and Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray in travel sizes.
The total value of the products is £260, giving a saving of around £85. It might not be the cheapest calendar on the shelves, and it doesn’t offer the greatest savings compared to other calendars, but for the Tilbury-obsessed, it’s a bundled shortcut to refreshing your entire makeup bag.
