Lauren Boebert’s son ‘called 911 to say his father had gotten physical’
A new report revealed that Rep. Lauren Boebert’s son called 911 to report his father was getting physical with him and that the Colorado Republican had been living separate from her husband six months before she filed for divorce.
One of Boebert’s four sons told the 911 dispatcher his father Jayson Boebert was ‘throwing him around the house’ during a December 11 argument, according to records obtained by Insider.
During the 6:46 p.m. call, the teen was reportedly ‘sobbing’ and ‘gasping for air’ as he told the operator his dad was ‘throwing me around.’ The dispatcher asked the teenager if Jayson had gotten physical with him. ‘Yeah, he was throwing me across,’ the boy said.
‘He called me a psycho, when he’s the ….,’ he added, before trailing off.
Boebert filed for divorce from her husband of 20 years earlier this month.

The dispatcher told the teen he would send an officer to the home and he didn’t have to worry and asked if there were weapons in the house.
‘I mean there are weapons in the house yeah, but I don’t think he’d use them on me,’ the sobbing son responded. ‘He just does this to me so much.’
He then informed the dispatcher he was running to his mom’s residence – a farm house adjacent to the Boebert family home.
‘I’m in the driveway, but my mom’s staying down at the farmhouse because there’s problems with them,’ the teen said. ‘I’m going down there where he can’t get to me.’
The boy hung up, but called back five minutes later to deny his earlier account that his father had gotten physical.
‘All I wanted to say was is me and my dad were starting to yell, he didn’t really get physical with me,’ the teen told the same dispatcher, as Boebert took the phone.
‘Hi, I’m the mom,’ she said.
‘Ok. There was an argument over dinner. I understand you guys got to come and talk to them. I’m down at our second location with [our son] getting ready for an event,’ she said.
‘Just to let you know, I have him,’ she told the dispatcher. ‘His dad’s at the house.’
The dispatcher informed Boebert they were sending officers to see if the boy needed help.
‘He doesn’t need help,’ he said. ‘But yeah, they can come here.’
When police showed up Jayson told them he had gotten into a verbal argument. Jayson said he didn’t hurt him but ‘maybe the door touched his butt on the way out.’
Jayson said he got in an argument with his son and told the boy to go down to where his mother was staying to ‘cool off.’
The boy then told the officer ‘he started yelling at his dad first and his dad wasn’t physical.’
The teen ‘said he wasn’t sure why he said that his dad hurt him, but he was upset,’ according to the police log.
Jayson explained to Insider that before Boebert had ran for Congress the family spent a lot of time together when he wasn’t at his job in the oil industry.
Now that Boebert is off ‘serving her country,’ he said, ‘every teenage boy is going to want to test the bull,’ he said. ‘We’ve gotten over it.’
Earlier this month DailyMail.com reported Mike Estep, who served Jayson the divorce papers from Boebert, said Jayson became ‘extremely angry’ and set their dogs on him when Estep showed up at their Silt, Colorado, home.
Estep said Jayson had been at home cleaning his gun and and drinking a beer when he showed up.
Estep stated, ‘Jayson opened the door and I said ‘are you Jayson Boebert,’ to which he said, ‘that’s me.’ I told him, ‘I have a Summons for Dissolution of Marriage for you’ I could see that he was drinking a tall glass of beer and cleaning a gun that was sitting on a table.
‘Once he learned that he was being served with Dissolution of Marriage papers he was extremely angry. I tried to hand him the documents but [he] did not take them. He started yelling and using profanities and told me that I was trespassing and that he was calling the Sheriff’s Office. I told him I was leaving the documents on the chair outside the door, he closed the door then let the dogs out.’
Boebert, 36, cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for filing for divorce from her husband of 18 years and said in a bizarre statement that she has ‘always been faithful’.
In an exclusive text message to DailyMail.com, her devastated husband Jayson said: ‘I am torn by this a very sad thing. A horrible moment in my life.
‘I love her too much to say anything bad about her. She is the mother of my children and my partner for the last 20 years. Please just let me have some peace.’
A court hearing has been set for May 31 in Mesa County Court in Grand Junction, Colorado.
In her statement, the sophomore congresswoman said: ‘It is with a heavy weight on my heart that I have filed for divorce from my husband. I am grateful for our years of marriage together and for our beautiful children, all of whom deserve privacy and love as we work through this process.’

‘I’ve always been faithful in my marriage, and I believe strongly in marriage, which makes this announcement that much more difficult.’
The couple were married in 2005 and share four boys together. They met at Burger King when she was 16 and he was 22 – she was working there and Jayson, who was working on an oil rig, stopped in for lunch.
Boebert has also made a bid for a temporary order granting primary custody of the couple’s sons, Tyler, 18, Brody, 15, Kaydon, 13, and Roman 10, as well as child and spousal support.
The December incident was not the first time police had been called to the Boebert residence – two neighbors called the cops on Jayson and reported he was running over a mailbox and ‘probably loaded [drunk]’ in August 2022.
‘It’s Lauren Boebert’s jack*** husband,’ one neighbor said.
‘The stories reported about the process server, and even Jayson running over a mailbox are a complete lie,’ Boebert wrote on Twitter after the divorce papers report.
‘Jayson, a man I spent half of my life with, did not sign up to be in the public limelight, and he certainly did not agree to be falsely accused of things he didn’t do.’
