Man fighting for life after being attacked at home in Roxburgh Park, Melbourne: Urgent search for attacker

A major manhunt is currently underway in Melbourne’s north after a man was brutally attacked inside a home, before he was rushed to hospital in a critical condition. 

After receiving reports of the attack, police rushed to the scene in Roxburgh Park and discovered a man who had been assaulted within the residence. 

It is understood the man in his 40s suffered serious stab wounds in an attack shortly before 5am. 

The area has since been cordoned off as police investigate.

The attackers reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle following the attack. 

A detailed description of the suspects or vehicle is yet to be released.
