Candice Warner lands exciting new TV gig after her cricketer husband David was ruled out of second Test with a concussion and elbow fracture
Candice Warner has landed a new TV role as a regular panellist on Fox Sports’ long running program, The Back Page.
The former Ironwoman, 37, will appear on the show alongside host Tony Squires and special guests every Tuesday night.
‘I’m excited to be stepping into this role as a more regular panellist on The Back Page,’ Candice said.
‘I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my experience so far on the show, and I couldn’t think of a better way to be joining the Fox Sports family than with a program that has spanned over two decades.’
Fox Sports Executive Director Steve Crawley said: ‘Anyone who’s seen Candice on The Back Page will understand why we’re increasing her role. She’s open, honest and a real Fox Sports talent.’

It comes after Candice’s husband David was ruled out of the rest of the Test match with concussion last month.
Under ICC concussion protocols, the Australians were able to substitute the opener with batsman Matthew Renshaw for the rest of the Test.
It was later revealed that Warner also has a hairline fracture in his arm which may impact his availability for the third Test.

‘David Warner has a small and undisplaced hairline fracture in his arm,’ cricket reporter Andrew Wu tweeted.
‘It gives you an idea of the guts he showed to bat on yesterday. He’s as tough as they come.’
The veteran opener was said to be dizzy and failed a fitness test ahead of day two.
