Christina Ricci has confessed she ‘regrets everything’ and would love to turn the clocks back so she can look forever 27.
The actress, 42, spoke candidly about ageing and why she has an ‘overarching’ feeling of regret – believing if she could live her life again she would ‘do it in a better way’.
Starring in cannibalism horror drama Yellowjackets, Christina also talked about how being a mother has shaped her choices in picking roles for the future.

When asked if she has any regrets in an interview with The Guardian, Christina replied: ‘I regret everything, I’m probably the only person who’ll be honest and tell you – if I could do it again, I’d do it a better way. OK I’m being glib. But it’s an overarching feeling.’
Christina added she still feels she in her mind ‘I I look the way I did at 27’.
She said: ‘I have this very nice filter over myself so looking at realistic pictures all the time is a little bit of a mindf**k, I’d love to just go through life believing this delusion that I still look 27. It wouldn’t harm anyone.’

Christina who is mum to daughter Cleo, one, and son Freddie, eight, says she has a ‘lot less ability’ to portray a character nowadays who has ‘extreme misery’.
‘I would never be able to play someone who is mean to a child. I can’t even read it if it’s in scripts’, she said.
It comes as Christina finalised her divorce from film producer James Heerdegen this month, two years after their bitter split.
The actress and her ex husband have come to terms on a legal separation according to a report from TMZ.

They will share joint custody of their son Freddie but Ricci will be the one making major decisions when it comes to anything medical or educational.
She also has primary custody but they will split physical custody, according to the site.
The Addams Family star – who married second husband Mark Hampton in 2021 – will also keep all of the residuals and royalties for her work.
The publication claims the legal documents state there is also no spousal or child support but the actress will be paying for 100 per cent of private school and any other uncovered medical expenses for their son.
The former couple married in 2013 after two years of dating. They met on the set of ABC’s Pan Am.
Ricci went on to marry hair stylist Mark in October 2021 as they also share a one-year-old daughter Cleopatra.
