Loved Island SPOILER: Casey and Ron have a heated row

Once again things get heated during Sunday’s episode of Love Island as Casey and Ron have another row. 

Financial adviser Ron and Lana, both 25, offer Casey’s partner Rosie some advice after she is left questioning if her relationship is one side with Casey.

Ron tells her: ‘If you want to prepare yourself for the outside world, [he needs] to get to know you a lot quicker.

‘The only way you’re going to do that is by spending more 1-1 time with you… I think he loves being one of the “Three Musketeers” [with Tom and Will] a lot… I would say just keep a little bit of space, see where he goes.’ 

Rosie then tells Casey about the advice Ron has given her and is left questioning Ron’s intentions and calls him out on the chat.

She told Casey: ‘He made a comment that you prioritise the boys over me and he said that I should take a step back.’

Trying to defend himself Ron says: ‘I never said you prioritise your time, I said you like being around Will and Tom.’

Casey asks: ‘So why has Rosie said that then?’

Unable to get to the bottom of what was said, Casey says: ‘Girls can you come here, I think we need to clear this up’.

One couple is left on the rocks during the episode after Ron revealed his ‘game plan’ with girlfriend Lana to win the ITV show.

He will confront Shaq Muhammad after he queried whether Ron was being genuine with the makeup artist.

The couple were left unimpressed after Shaq suggested they were in the top three most game-playing couples during the ranking challenge.

Shaq tells Ron: ‘For me bro, it’s a challenge and I said before I even made the comment that I would see how it looks from every single side.’

Ron replies: ‘I’m not calling you out on it, obviously it’s sore for me and Lana, and I’d hate it to plant a seed in Lana’s head.’

Later in the episode, Ron still can’t drop the challenge and accusations of him game playing and speaks to Tom, Samie, Kai and Sanam around the fire pit.  

In doing so he admitted his game plan of ‘having the drama nice and early’ in the show before ‘getting comfy’ and cruising to the end. 

Which is exactly what Ron and Lana have done, since he had his head turned a number of times by bombshells and later coming back together with Lana following Casa Amor and eventually making her his girlfriend.

Ron admitted: ‘When I was a viewer… I thought, the ones who have their drama nice and early and then get comfy and treat it like a holiday, they’re the ones who are probably like, they just cruise.

‘I can see why people probably thought, “Oh Lana and Ron are just cruising through.” I’m not bothered by any of that. As I know I’m not, otherwise I never would have made her my girlfriend, it means too much to me.’

The following day, Tom updates some of the other Islanders on what was said by Ron.

He tells Casey and Shaq: ‘Last night, Ron basically came out and said his game plan. He said the couples who do well on Love Island are the ones that get all the drama out of the way at the start and then cruise at the end.’

Shaq was left shocked and replied: ‘He said that?’
