Married At First Sight’s Domenica and Ella slam latest season of MAFS as a ‘s**t show’ before claiming that this year’s villains just got a ‘bad edit’
Married At First Sight besties Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding have called the latest series of the reality TV show ‘a mess’ and ‘a sh**t show’.
In an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, the former MAFS brides were asked to say one word that describes the 2023 season, and they didn’t hold back.
‘One word? S**t show,’ Domenica said confidently, before realising she hadn’t quite done the assignment right.
‘Oh, wait, that’s two words. F**k,’ she added before Ella chimed in: ‘That’s two words. Maybe just a mess? Oh wait that’s two words too.’
The duo then laughed and struggled before Domenica said: ‘Look we’re not that smart.’
Ella then said: ‘Just mess and s**t.’

The season nine stars said their favourite brides of the current season are Janelle Han and Tahnee Cook.
Asked if they knew any of the contestants before the show began, Domenica said: ‘I knew Janelle through the beauty influencer world so I had met her at a few Mac events and things.
‘Melissa reached out so I have spoken to her on the phone, I do have a lot of sympathy for her.
‘I think she was coaxed by the producers to be all sex, sex, sex, and I think she got prodded and provoked by producers.’
Ella added that she didn’t know any of the brides or grooms before the series aired, and that Janelle and Tahnee are her favourites.
Domenica agreed, adding: ‘I have been speaking to Tahnee and Janelle and they are lovely and beautiful.’
She also defended intruder bride Tayla Winter, who has been branded as this years ‘villain’.

The 27-year-old nurse, who has been paired with Hugo Armstrong, has copped backlash for saying her husband is ‘not a man’s man’ and making him sleep on the couch during their honeymoon.
But Domenica said she believes Tayla has been given the ‘worst edit’ of all the brides and isn’t being portrayed accurately.
‘I know she has just come in but I personally think she maybe is being portrayed in the wrong way because of certain things she says and how she acts,’ she said.
‘Not giving her free rein because she was very mean to Hugo, but I think there’s a lot more there.’
