Paul Kelly, Jon Stevens and Daryl Braithwaite join forces for the One From The Heart concert in Lismore following devastating floods

Some of Australia’s most legendary singers gathered for a benefit concert on Sunday. 

Paul Kelly, Jon Stevens, Grinspoon and Daryl Braithwaite all offered up spirited performances at the One From The Heart concert in Lismore.

The benefit aims to show support for those devastated by recent flooding in the area.

More than 10,000 people from flood-affected regions snapped up free tickets for the show. 

‘When the call went out, with all my peers and stuff, you sort of put your hand up and go, “Okay, yeah, can I play?” Daryl Braithwaite told SBS. 

‘And it’s just because you like to help any way you can.’

'A lot of artists and musicians... are drawn to this part of Lismore and unfortunately this is the part of Lismore that gets so heavily affected by the floods,' he said

‘It’s cheaper to live here but there’s more going on and it would be devastating to lose that.’

Within hours of release, all allocations were already snapped up and the event was a roaring success.
