The Bachelor’s Dr Matt Agnew teases a possible reality TV comeback

The Bachelor’s hunky astrophysicist Dr Matt Agnew teases a possible reality TV comeback – but he’ll only do it under ONE condition

Dr Matt Agnew stole hearts in 2019 when he went on The Bachelor to find love.

Since then, the astrophysicist, 35, has kept out of the spotlight, emerging only to release his first non-fiction book Dr Matt’s Guide to Life in Space.

But the hunky scientist revealed to Yahoo Lifestyle on Friday that there’s always a chance he’ll return to television – as long as it’s for a good cause.

Former Bachelor star Dr Matt Agnew has teased a potential return to reality TV – as long as it’s for a good cause

The self-proclaimed ‘space nerd’ told the publication he didn’t feel like enough of a celebrity to ever appear on SAS Australia or I’m A Celebrity like his other Bachelor co-stars.

However, Agnew went on to say he’d be willing to leverage his platform and return to television to support a charity.

‘It would have to be the right opportunity. A lot of them often have a charity kind of thing attached to them and I’m always up for leveraging the platform that I’ve been blessed with to contribute in that way,’ he said.

He continued: ‘But it’s certainly not something I’m kind of actively pursuing, and certainly I wouldn’t be looking into another dating show or anything of that kind of nature.

‘I mean, if there’s an opportunity and it seems like it would be fun, and especially if there is a charity component, I’d certainly jump at it.’

Agnew previously appeared on Today Extra to participate in The World’s Greatest Shave live and help raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.

‘I did embrace the look, I enjoyed it,’ he said of his long hair. ‘But I had the opportunity to contribute to a really great cause and you’ve got to take it.’

The former reality television star raised nearly $10,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation.

A good cause: Earlier this month, Matt told The Daily Telegraph about his plans to lop off his long locks and said he hopes to raise $30,000 for charity
