If you’re in the market for an air fryer or thinking about upgrading, Amazon has just cut the price of a popular Tefal model. The Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer, originally priced at £179.99, has been slashed by 44% to a much more affordable £99.99.
This particular model comes with a glowing recommendation from none other than celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, who uses the Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer to whip up some of his own air fryer meals.
The Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer boasts two drawers, one 5.2l and another 3.1l, giving it an overall capacity of 8.3l. It claims to be able to air fry, crisp, roast, bake, reheat and dehydrate, all while providing enough room for six portions.
The product also features a non-stick surface and dishwasher-safe baskets for easy cleaning. It promises to cook food 40% faster than a conventional oven, whilst “saving up to 70% energy”.
Tefal states that an external test was conducted in 2022, which involved cooking 1000g of frozen French fries. The Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer was compared to a conventional oven Energy Class A.
It also promises to use less fat when cooking to make things crisp, therefore being a healthier option.
On Amazon, the Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer has earned a score of 4.6 out of five from 1,937 reviews. One satisfied customer, Adam Carter, said: “So easy to use, reduces cook time. Easy to clean. Couldn’t be without it for doing meals.
“From wholesome meals to indulgent Mac n Cheese, it’s a perfect substitute for using your oven or hob. The Sync feature also allows you to set both drawers to cook simultaneously, ensuring everything finishes at the same time, even if cooking different items at varying temperatures.
“The Grilling option takes a bit longer to get used to, but it’s up to the individual how they prefer to grill their food, i.e., you can monitor it more easily under your oven’s grill.”
Lainey W commented: “Family size can cook whole chicken, slices of fish etc… fantastic gadget. I no longer use my oven.”
Rachel chimed in: “Have used this every day! Can confidently say it’s brilliant, loads of meals made – even Christmas dinner. We are a family of three – so this has plenty of room to whip up lots of food.
“Simple instructions and easy to clean- love the two different sizes trays and how you can have separate meals on different times. – so meals that are different are absolutely fine as I know we can all sit down and enjoy time together knowing we can all eat at the same time – stress free meals.”
However, some mentioned they found the controls a bit challenging to master initially and one added: “I struggled trying to figure out how to use the second, smaller basket, on its own – it was a matter of trial and error. The manual that comes with this is a whopping 219 pages, but only 10 are in English and of those 10, 3 are devoted to cooking timing charts and the print is so tiny it is unreadable.”
