It’s the most anticipated day of the year for music fans, and it’s nearly here. Spotify has hinted at the launch of its eagerly awaited Wrapped feature for 2025, encouraging fans to take action ‘today’.
Throughout the year, the popular streaming app keeps tabs on everything you tune into – from music to podcasts – and compiles them into an interactive slideshow for you to look back on and share with friends..
You’ll be able to see your top artists, tracks and genres, along with some amusing insights into your listening habits, if past years are anything to go by.

When will Spotify Wrapped 2025 be released?
Spotify began dropping hints about the release of Wrapped last week, via a series of videos shared on social media. And today, they’ve given another significant clue, reports the Express.
Posting on X, the streaming giant encouraged fans to ‘Warm up before Wrapped’, announcing that the feature is ‘coming soon’.
In previous years, it’s been unveiled on the first Wednesday of December – leading many to speculate that it could land tomorrow, December 3.
Here’s when the feature was rolled out in previous years:
- 2024: Wednesday, December 4
- 2023: Wednesday, November 29
- 2022: Wednesday, November 30
- 2021: Wednesday, December 1
- 2020: Tuesday, December 1
How to see your Spotify Wrapped 2025
According to Spotify, the key thing you need to do to view your Wrapped when it’s available is ensure you have the latest version of the app on your mobile or tablet. Then, simply open the Spotify app once Wrapped is released, and you’ll be able to see your stats.
Your device might update you automatically, but if not, head over to the app store and locate the Spotify app there, then hit ‘update’. If there’s no option to do this, you’re already on the latest version.
You should also be able to view your top 100 songs of the year on the desktop app too, though the accompanying slideshow won’t be available.
Who were the biggest artists of 2025?
2025 has been a huge year for music, and according to Route Note, some of the top artists have included Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran.
As for the songs themselves, Ordinary by Alex Warren clinched the top spot, reigning as number one in the UK for 13 weeks. Messy by Lola Young was hot on its heels, with Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club and Birds Of A Feather by Billie Eilish also making it into the top 10 list.
