Netflix has released the official trailer for People We Meet on Vacation starring Emily Bader and Tom Blyth as best friends

Netflix has just dropped the second official trailer for People We Meet on Vacation, which centres on free-spirited Poppy and routine-loving Alex who have maintained an unlikely friendship for ten years.
Despite residing in separate cities, they reunite every summer for their annual holiday together. Netflix hinted: “The careful balance of their friendship is put to the test when they begin to question what has been obvious to everyone else – could they actually be the perfect romantic match?”
Reacting to the trailer, @stillstandingattheexit gushed: “Thank you Emily Henry, Thank you Emily Bader and Thank you Tom Blyth for making the movie of the year.”
The preview shows Poppy’s parents warmly embracing Alex, whom they clearly cherish, as Poppy firmly maintains they are “just friends”.
She declares: “On vacation, you can be anyone you want. You can actually be who you want to be, instead of who they say you are.”
The duo are shown embarking on various adventures, from taking a midnight dip in the ocean to discovering eateries and coffee shops across the globe.
They even pose as an engaged couple to secure complimentary treats after witnessing another pair of “lovebirds” receive VIP treatment.
What begins as harmless pretence evolves into genuine romantic possibility as the companions become closer than ever.
The preview hints at heartfelt scenes where Alex promises to “always be here” for his dearest friend during difficult times. In the YouTube comments, @katiel1021 gushed: “Everyone say thank you to Emily Henry for saving the romcom genre!”
