he draw for the Champions League quarter-finals takes place at the end of this week.

Chelsea produced their best performance under Graham Potter to knock out Borussia Dortmund and reach the last eight, but Tottenham could not join them after a dismal and drab draw with AC Milan. Manchester City thrashed RB Leipzig to book their spot in the Champions League draw, while Liverpool are facing mission impossible against Real Madrid.

The draw is completely open with no seedings as teams from the same nation and Champions League group can face each other in the last eight.

When is the Champions League quarter-final draw?

The Champions League quarter-final draw will take place on Friday, March 17, 2023.

The start time for the ceremony at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland is 11am GMT.

How can I watch the Champions League quarter-final draw?

TV channel: In the UK, the draw will be broadcast live on BT Sport.

Live stream: UEFA will show the draw live online via their official YouTube channel and website, while BT Sport subscribers can watch on the BT Sport website and app.

Who’s qualified for the Champions League quarter-final draw?

Chelsea and Benfica were the first two teams in the hat for the draw in last week’s second legs and they were joined by Bayern Munich and AC Milan.

Manchester City are also through after Erling Haaland scored five times in a 7-0 second-leg drubbing of RB Leipzig on Tuesday, while Porto edged past Inter Milan.

Potential qualifiers: Real Madrid, Liverpool, Napoli, Eintracht Frankfurt.

When are the Champions League quarter-finals?

The first legs of the quarter-finals are scheduled for April 11/12 with the return legs a week later, on April 18/19.

When is the Champions League semi-final draw?

The semi-final draw immediately follows the quarter-final draw, meaning all teams will know their potential route to the final from this round onwards.

There will also be a draw to decide which pathway will produce the ‘home’ team in the final at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
