The $16 Kmart decor buy hundreds are racing to get their hands on: ‘This has completely transformed my home’

A woman shared the brilliant transformation her living room underwent after simply replacing her bold photo frames with Kmart’s $16 photo blocks.

‘Oh my god, the Kmart photo blocks are amazing,’ said the delighted shopper in a Facebook group. 

‘We upgraded our old Kmart frames for our feature wall. It was $16 each for 12×12 inches and held up with 3M strips! We’re so, so happy with how it looks.’

The Kmart photos are a budget-friendly option that can be mounted on a lightweight cardboard frame.

Each photo wraps around the edges at 1¾ of an inch for a borderless effect.

Many were enthralled by the transformation and complimented the woman on her quick and easy home upgrade.

‘This looks amazing!’ said one woman. ‘I’m going to copy your idea – I also have black frames I’m not liking that much anymore.’

‘I’ve wanted to do this for ages but wasn’t sure about the quality – but your home looks great.’

A third added, ‘I absolutely need to re-do my photo wall, your upgrade makes your photos stand out so much more!’

But many had unforeseen issues with the woman’s photo wall.

‘Those look really nice but I’ve never found a good way to mount them up,’ complained one woman. 

She added, ‘The 3M strips never last more than a few weeks – my hooks and strips just fall off and damage whatever it was holding up.’ 

‘These stupid photo frames have ruined so many walls in my house,’ said a third.
