Zara Tindall looked ready for some tough competition as she warmed up on her bicycle at the Burghley Horse Trials for a second day of competition.
Princess Anne’s daughter, 42, sported a bright blue waterproof jacket with a high neck as autumn temperatures took hold in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
To shield her hair from the drizzle, she wore a black Defender cap and tied her blonde locks in a ponytail.
Underneath her waterproof jacket, the mother-of-three appeared to be wearing a thermal layer in a grey, mottled print.
She sported navy jodhpurs and black riding boots as she cycled along the grass.
Zara Tindall, 44, looked focused and ready to take on tough competition as she warmed up ahead of day two of the Burghley Horse Trials in Stamford, Lincolnshire
Her arrival on the second day of the Trials follows a tough-fought competition yesterday (Thursday) when she competed in the dressage on her majestic horse, Class Affair.
The mother-of-three donned a sophisticated pair of white trousers, a double-breasted fitted navy blazer with tails and a high-collared shirt.
Zara’s horse, Class Affair looked equally as smart in a brown ear bonnet, also known as a fly veil or fly hood, and a pristinely plaited mane.
The Burghley Horse Trials, which take place at Burghley House, Stamford, Lincolnshire, are one of the last events of the summer social scene and often attract big crowds.

The three-day event is a comprehensive test of a horse’s skills, with dressage, jumping, and cross country events all taking place.
Zara’s husband, ex-rugby ace Mike Tindall, 44, will likely be cheering on his spouse once again over the next four days, alongside the three children they share, Mia, nine, Lena, five, and two-year-old Lucas.
Zara’s family were pictured showing their support at the Wellington International Horse Trials in Heckfield earlier this week.
Mia Tindall, nine, and her siblings Lena, five, and Lucas, two, enjoyed a playful day out while coming to cheer on their mother Zara Tindall during an equestrian event.
The three royal siblings accompanied their father, former England rugby ace Mike, on the sidelines of the event.
But the delighted children appeared more excited by the bouncy castle and teacup rides at the venue.
Lucas and his father were seen having a blast on a carousel ride.
Lucas was also seen engrossed in the competition while on his father’s shoulders to see over the crowds.
The two-year-old embraced the warm weather in black shorts, a white T-shirt and a baseball cap.
While his older sisters both wore navy jumpers which they paired with shorts and trainers.
Mike opted for comfort in a pink long sleeved sweatshirt and navy chino shorts which he also paired with a baseball cap.
