These are the best tech deals for Black Friday, with big savings on Apple, Sony and top Amazon devices
Before you know it, Black Friday will be finished, with many deals only running until 1 December, after which prices will return to normal. Yes, some stores may decide to run deals for a little longer, but for shoppers looking to make savings before Christmas, this is crunch time.
I’m a technology expert, and I’ve been making a list and checking it twice, looking to reveal some of the best deals – including some of my top personal recommendations.
That sees a streaming stick with a twist, the headphones that everyone wants, the best deal on the iPhone 17 Pro, a top telly and my absolute must-have piece of tech.

The Black Friday deals kicked off in earnest on 20 November, but some retailers started discounting at the beginning of the month. That’s seen some retailers selling out of particular deals – I’ve seen discounted AirPods vanish from Amazon and a tasty Samsung tablet return to a price I wouldn’t recommend.
So shoppers should be aware that these prices fluctuate and they sell out. I’ve checked all the deals below, but they won’t last for much longer.
Apple for less
The AirPods 4 were announced in 2024 and are Apple’s most affordable AirPods. They offer great sound quality and 24 hours of life with this reduction to £99 the cheapest they have been. They are the perfect partner for an iPhone – although they don’t have active noise cancellation on this model.
There’s another AirPods discount worth considering and that’s the £169 AirPods Pro 2. These are a little older, updated in 2023 and replaced by the AirPods Pro 3 in 2025. But these headphones offer great comfort and performance (including noise cancellation) and this £169 price on Argos is hard to beat.
Apple Watch 5 (renewed) at Wowcher

The Apple Watch 5 (renewed) lets shoppers get that essential Apple accessory on their wrist for less with this Wowcher deal.
There’s a Wowcher deal worth considering that will save up to 55% on a renewed Apple Watch 5. This is an older model, although the design and basic offering of the device pretty much stayed the same through to Watch 10. The deal gets shoppers a discount with various models to choose from, but £89 for Apple Watch 5 is certainly cheap.
Shoppers looking for a newer Apple Watch might consider the discounted Apple Watch SE on Amazon. This is the second-gen model from 2022, but it’s new and it’s reduced to £164, which is close to its lowest ever price. The latest Apple Watch SE model is £199.
Amazon’s new Fire TV 4K Select – for less than £20
This is Amazon’s newest Fire TV Stick, offering access to all the streaming services with an added extra: it’s also going to support Xbox Cloud Gaming soon, so it can be used to play Xbox games on any TV. Gamers will need a controller and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
Fire TV Stick 4K Select

£19.99

The Fire TV Stick 4K Select is Amazon’s most affordable Fire TV Stick, but it will soon also offer Xbox gaming.
It’s not Amazon’s best Fire TV Stick – it doesn’t have Dolby Vision – but it is only £19.99. The Fire TV Stick is popular because it adds streaming skills to any TV with an HDMI port on the back – just plug it on, connect to Wi-Fi and that’s it! It runs the new VegaOS operating system from Amazon.
60GB SIM on iD Mobile – £8
Shoppers looking for a deal on data might be interested in this SIM at Mobiles.co.uk. It offers 60GB of data on iD Mobile for £8. This Black Friday offer boosts the data from 50GB, while also offering £120 cashback. That could see shoppers only paying £72 on this SIM over 24 months.
Cashback is a little fiddly (bills need to be mailed in on five different months), but even without the cashback, it’s a great deal. iD Mobile runs on the Three network, with access to 5G speeds and roaming to 50 countries included.
Sony WH-1000XM5

These 2022 headphones offer great looks, excellent sound quality and superb noise cancellation.
I don’t leave home without my Sony 1000X headphones, it’s as simple as that. Walk down the aisle of any flight and these headphones are popped on the bonce of many savvy travellers. Why? Because they sound sensational, they offer amazing noise cancellation and long battery life.
The Sony WH-1000XM5 aren’t the latest version of these headphones, but at £199.99 on Amazon, I’d recommend them over the latest XM6 model. They look the same, they pretty much sound the same, but they are much cheaper. The only downside is that these older headphones don’t fold like the new model does, so they take up a little more space.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro – £42.06 a month
The iPhone 17 Pro doesn’t have discounts for Black Friday, but this is the cheapest way to buy it. This is Apple’s latest phone and GiffGaff has it for £42.06 a month with 25GB data. That’s cheaper than rivals with that amount of data (it runs on the O2 network) and there’s a £25 upfront cost on a 36-month handset contract.
The data side is an 18-month contract, so shoppers can get a new deal after that, or choose the 20GB tariff for the same price, but as a monthly rolling contract. That means they are free to change after just one month. There are no price rises on this deal, so it’s a top pick for iPhone shoppers.
Those wanting a cheaper model might prefer the iPhone 16e from Sky Mobile from only 63p a day.
Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

£159.99
£124.99

The Kindle Paperwhite offers a great reading experience with front lighting and 6 weeks battery life.
The Kindle Paperwhite is my favourite piece of tech. That might sound strange for someone whose life is full of the latest gadgets, but I love reading, and there’s no better way of reading than on the Paperwhite. This reduction to £124.99 on Amazon makes it just a little bit more affordable, but honestly, I’d pay full price.
Kindle lets you carry loads of books with you and shop for more through the Kindle Store wherever there’s a Wi-Fi connection. There’s soft and even front illumination, the battery lasts for about 6 weeks, it’s light and comfortable to hold and compact enough to slip into any bag. It’s unlimited reading, night or day – and it does a great job. Available with or without adverts.
TCL 50C6KS TV – £349 (was £429)
Televisions are confusing, offering a whole world of entertainment through one flat panel in the corner. The TCL C6KS offers more than most, but what’s really impressive is the quality that this TV offers for the price. Reduced to £349 for the 50-inch model at Argos, there’s a lot crammed into this smart TV.
It’s one of the most affordable Mini-LED models available, offering better picture control than QLED thanks to the latest tech. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for the latest HDR content, making movies look rich and vibrant. It runs Google TV – so there’s no Freely, which is a downside – and while it will support gamers, the screen is only 60Hz. It’s best for streamers and movie watchers who will enjoy the quality.
