2 teenagers stabbed in Kennington fight arrested

Two teenagers have been arrested after a fight in Kennington last Friday, July 26. The pair, aged 17 and 18, were stabbed in the incident on Cooks Road.

Police found the teenagers after being called at around 4.30pm and the pair were both taken to hospital with stab wounds. Neither is in a life-threatening condition, and they have both since been arrested.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 4.30pm on Friday, July 26, to a fight in Cooks Road, SE17. Officers attended along with ambulance colleagues.

“Two males – aged 17 and 18 years – were taken to hospital suffering stab injuries. Neither is in a life-threatening condition. Both have been arrested.

“Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances, led by CID officers responsible for policing Southwark and Lambeth. Any witnesses yet to speak with police are asked to call 101, ref 5430/26jul. To remain anonymous please contact Crimestoppers.”
