The host stepped out wearing the immediately recognisable Nobody’s Child Butter Yellow Flossie Midi Dress. The Flossie is one of the celeb-loved brand’s most popular silhouettes, and has been reimagined a number of times in varying colours and patterns.

The dress features a delicate butter yellow hue that flatters a wide range of skin tones. Its scoop neckline, short puff sleeves, frilled collar, and neat row of covered buttons give it a vintage-inspired look, while the A-line skirt and side pockets keep it practical and comfortable for all-day wear.

This pale shade of yellow has been everywhere this year, from social media to Copenhagen Fashion Week earlier this month. Other celebrities have also hopped on the trend, with Christine Lampard donning the Cady Buttermilk dress from Phase Eight last month. Priced at £119 , this dress is not only perfect for special events like graduations, weddings or race days, but also for holidays and weekend outings.

Flossie is the midi dress of the moment. Coming in butter yellow, she features short puff sleeves, a frilled collar and a pretty line of covered buttons. We love her relaxed, A-line skirt and side pockets.

And Cat Deeley, a woman with her finger well and truly on the pulse when it comes to fashion moments, wore the Yellow Bow Embellished Mini Dress from River Island earlier in the year. Originally £75, it’s now on sale for £39.

However, neither of these dresses have garnered many reviews from shoppers, save for one on the Phase Eight frock. Meanwhile, the Nobody’s Child dress has earned an overall rating of 4.4 stars from shoppers.

One said: “Lovely coloured dress, fully lined and gits fine apart from the length. Too long but my friend took it up and now it’s perfect.”

“I love the pale yellow colour of the dress and the fit is very flattering on me,” said another. “Good length too. Only negative is it is a bit see through so I am wearing a slip underneath.”

A second shopper also commented on the dresses length, saying it was on the longer side, writing: “Really pretty summer dress. The material is fab, cool and comfortable in those hot days. It is on the longer side, I am 5’6″ and the dress were to my ankles.”
