Those looking for a sweet treat can enjoy some brand new Krispy Kreme doughnuts and drinks inspired by a huge film franchise, but be quick as they are available for a limited time only
Witches and wizards are buzzing with excitement as they will soon be able to get their hands on Harry Potter themed doughnuts and drinks. From next week Potterheads can enjoy five brand-new Krispy Kreme donuts inspired by the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Krispy Kreme are rolling out the new treats from Monday August 18. Four doughnuts are dedicated to the Hogwarts Houses – Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff – plus getting matched into the correct house has never been sweeter, as there is a doughnut inspired by the Sorting Hat. You can buy the houses doughnuts individually for £3.49, the Sorting Hat for £3.99.
The Sorting Hat doughnut is sold separately in a limited-edition specialty box. On August 18 and 19, if customers include any Harry Potter doughnut in their dozen, the entire dozen is available for just £12 with the password ‘Accio Doughnut’.
New York-based food blogger, Markie Dave, shared details of the doughnuts on his food review TikTok page. Markie said: “The Ravenclaw doughnut is original glazed, blueberry icing, topped with Ravenclaw sprinkles and crest.

The Slytherin is original glazed top with chocolate and green buttercream, swirls of chocolate sugar, cookie blend and it has a Slytherin crest.”
Describing the other doughnuts on offer, the viral food reviewer added: “This one [Hufflepuff donut] actually sounds so damn good, this is an unglazed shell with brown butter, custard on the inside and has cookie crunch on the top, yellow icing and the crest.”
However he dubbed the Gryffindor doughnut as “the showstopper” of the treats. Markie added: “This is an unglazed, shell filled with cookie butter flavoured cream, it has a cookie butter on top that’s Biscoff and has red icing and the crest.”
Finally speaking about the Sorting Hat donut, he commented: “This one actually sounds like a good time.” Inside these mystery donuts you will find the colour of one of the Hogwarts houses.
As well as being renowned for its donuts, Krispy Kreme chains are also popular for their coffee options. Accompanying the doughnuts are a range of Golden Snitch drinks.
You can enjoy the golden caramel toffee inspired Golden Snitch Latte from £4.69, Golden Snitch Ice Latte from £4.69 and Golden Snitch Shake from £5.49, topped with whipped cream, cookie crumble and gold sugar. These drinks are available in Krispy Kreme shops only while stocks last.
