Suits cast members Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty are set to host a brand new podcast about the popular USA Network show without their co-star Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle is out of the loop once again when it comes to Suits.

It has been nearly a decade and half since the USA Network show premiered and fans saw Meghan star as Rachel Zane. The cast of the show has had some reunions recently, but without the Duchess of Sussex.

And now, it’s been announced Patrick J. Adams, who played Mike Ross, and Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen, will be hosting a re-watch podcast series to breakdown all the episodes from the show for its listeners. They will even share with listeners “behind-the-scenes stories about the making of the series,” but Meghan won’t be involved in the project.

According to Deadline, the podcast will be produced by Sirius XM, which has a history of being behind the Office Ladies and Parks & Recollection podcasts. Patrick and Sarah will have special guests on the podcast which could be anyone from a former cast member to crew members. Friends and fans will also be welcomed.

The show has gotten a new set of fans since it first aired on June 13, 2011, on USA Network. Suits lasted nine seasons but once it was put on streaming services, it blew up once more. The series became streamable on Netflix and Peacock in mid-2023, where it experienced a surge in popularity. It topped the Nielsen ratings charts for a record 12 weeks and became one of Netflix’s “most-watched acquired series in a single week.”

The news of the podcast comes after Meghan was not seen at the Golden Globes on January 7, where former cast members gathered. Gina Torres told Variety that it’s hard to reach out to the actress as they do not have her phone number. She said: “We don’t have her number… we just don’t, so she’ll see. She’ll watch.” Patrick also said he has “no communication” with the Duchess of Sussex.

NBCUniversal got the green light to go ahead with Suits: Los Angeles – a spin-off show of the hit legal drama. Many of the episodes are “already written,” as per reports.

The growing speculation about Meghan’s potential return to Suits came after her on-screen husband Patrick J. Adams – who played Mike Ross in the drama – said he “hopes she comes back.” Speaking at the Golden Globe Awards in January, he hinted that he and the Duchess could return to the spin-off.

He said: “Yes, yes let’s go, I’ll do it. Yeah I’m ready, Mike and Rachel in Seattle,” and then added: “I think Meghan’s a fantastic actor, so we’d be lucky to have her back in the industry.”
