Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not have a close relationship with the Royal Family, but one expert has explained how they could end the feud and it involves their kids

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been urged to take their children to the UK in a move that could “soften tensions” with the Royal Family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior royals four years ago and have gone on to issue a number of attacks against the Royal Family. It’s resulted in the pair developing a strained relationship with King Charles and becoming estranged from Prince William and Princess Kate.

However, relationship expert Louella Alderson believes the couple’s children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – could help mend broken relationships. The youngsters have spent very little time in the UK, but Louella believes they may be able to bond with their extended family.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Louella said: “It’s a positive first step for the family to try and come together and heal their relationships. Children have a unique ability to bring joy and positivity, and seeing them interact and bond with their cousins could remind the adults of the importance of family and forgiveness.

“The children could form their own bond, which could have a positive ripple effect on the adults. This could motivate William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan to work through their issues for the sake of their children and the future of their relationships.”

She added: “Additionally, it may help to create a sense of normalcy and unity within the Royal Family, which has been plagued by controversy and division in recent years. By showing a united front for the sake of their children, William, Kate, Harry and Meghan may be able to set aside their differences and focus on the bigger picture, particularly with Princess Kate and King Charles being diagnosed with cancer.”

However, Louella warned: “While having their children visit might help soften tensions and open the door for a reconciliation between William, Kate, Harry and Meghan, it’s unlikely that it would completely resolve the issues between them.”

The expert added: “Given the nature of the rift between the brothers, much deeper issues need to be addressed and resolved for a true reconciliation. It’s important for the adults to have open and honest conversations about their feelings, expectations, and past conflicts in order to move forward.

“This could take time and a lot of effort, but it’s a necessary step if all parties want to heal broken family relations. They can’t rely on the kids alone to bridge the gap between them.”
