A man in his 40s is in hospital after a stabbing in Lewisham. Police were called to Deptford High Street, near the junction with Comet Street, at around 7.30pm.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before taking him to hospital. His injuries have since been deemed neither life-threatening or life-changing, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.
Whilst enquiries continue, no one is yet to be arrested in connection, the force added. Detectives are not working to understand the circumstances of the daylight incident.
A video posted online in the hours following shows multiple police cars and ambulances lining the High Street. A large cordon was also set up, with tape seen on Comet Street and the adjacent Reginald Road.
