The Princess of Wales was spotted out with the rest of the Royal Family at Balmoral yesterday, wearing a chic and stylish outfit in a hue that’s perfect for autumn

The Prince and Princess of Wales and their family were snapped joining the rest of the Royal Family at a private Sunday church service during their summer stay at Balmoral yesterday, with Catherine appearing to sport a bold new hairstyle.

Although the family were only visible through the windows of their Range Rover, the Princess’s hair looked noticeably lighter than in previous outings. This could, however, simply be a trick of the light, so we’ll have to wait until she makes another public appearance before all rushing to copy Kate’s new ‘blonde’ ‘do.

Catherine also appeared to be wearing autumn’s most on-trend colour: burgundy. The royal looked to be wearing a smart blazer or coat in the flattering seasonal shade, most likely from one of her go-to designer brands such as Blazé Milano or Alexander McQueen. The tailored outerwear was paired with a matching pillbox hat, which we reckon is likely from royal milliners Lock & Co. Hatters.

For anyone looking to copy Kate’s seasonal look without a royal budget, however, we’ve found lots of great burgundy coats and jackets on the high street – and lots are in bank holiday sales…
