Lady Colin Campbell has released a new edition of her book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story – and fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going wild for its release

Royal fans are buzzing with anticipation as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle face the release of a controversial new book by one of their harshest critics. Best-selling author and Royal commentator, Lady Colin Campbell, has launched a fresh edition of her book ‘Meghan and Harry: The Real Story’, causing quite a stir among fans.

The book, which hit UK shelves on April 4, is described in its foreword as an “analysis of what happens when a vulnerable male” falls for an “ambitious doyenne”. It also explores the “clash of two civilisations, mores and attitudes”.

Fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from all over the globe have expressed their eagerness to grab a copy. One social media user, @Readingmom1776, posted on Twitter : “I keep checking the tracking to see if it will come sooner. Fingers crossed! “. Meanwhile, @Voicesofvision shared: “I shall see if I can get a copy tomorrow from one of the stores. An early rise for me now.”

Another reader, who admires socialite Lady C, asked: “Is this what Lady C’s been alluding to? ” Other fans complimented the choice of photo of the couple on the book’s front cover, reports the Express.

The book’s foreword states: “She [Lady C] catalogues in depth how this apparently brilliantly favoured couple came to lose their way, how they exhibited profound contemptuousness for practices built up by a treasured institution over a millennium, and how they were unable to understand the potential benefits of their destiny to such an extent that they managed to turn their fate on its head.”

Lady Colin Campbell often comments harshly on the new life Prince Harry and Meghan forged for themselves in California, after leaving the Royal Family. In scathing comments, often described as unfair by supporters of the Sussexes, she has recently said Meghan is “not capable of learning lessons” and has no regrets over how her post-royal life is going. She has claimed Meghan is failing to learn from her “errors” and “blames everyone else” for them and she “has a billionaire lifestyle without the money. They’re quickly running into serious problems financially.”

The former Suits TV actress has been tipped to return to the UK next month alongside Prince Harry to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, despite the fractured relationship between the couple and the Royal Family.

It has also been reported Harry is hoping to bring his family of four back to England for the service at St Paul’s Cathedral. This could be Meghan’s first return to the UK after Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022 and the kids’ first time back since the same year’s Platinum Jubilee.

Critics consider Meghan’s potential return to the UK as an “uncomfortable” step. As per Omid Scobie’s book Endgame, it was reported that Meghan “never really felt at home” in the UK and “never wants to step foot in England again”.
