It boasts over 30 five-star reviews with numerous people praising how “tasty” and “delicious” the bacon turns out in the air fryer, reports the Express.

The recipe requires six rashers of streaky bacon, or three rashers of back bacon and will feed between one and two people. One woman who commented on the recipe explained how she’s even ditched her toaster to also cook the bread in the air fryer.

How to make the ‘perfect’ bacon

Begin by simply arranging the bacon in a single layer at the bottom of your air fryer, ensuring the pieces aren’t overlapping.

The dimensions of your air fryer basket will dictate how many you can prepare simultaneously but you should manage to fit them all inside. Adjust the device to 200C and preheat if required before placing the bacon into the basket.

Prepare the rashers for four to six minutes, leaving them for an additional four if you’re seeking a genuinely crispy outcome. Back bacon will require approximately four to eight minutes, depending on your preferred final texture.

If you are preparing in batches, the method suggests that the second lot will typically be faster as the air fryer will already be warmed up. Extract the bacon using tongs cautiously and position it on kitchen roll to absorb any surplus fat if necessary before serving. Serve with toast and butter or use the bacon for waffles and pancakes along with maple syrup.

Sausages can also be cooked in the appliance in as little as 10 minutes at 180C. Turn the sausages every five minutes until they are cooked through and pair them with the bacon for a tasty breakfast.

There you go, the ‘perfect’ bacon that will elevate your breakfast. Simple and ready in less than five minutes – and it’s so delicious that you’ll want to make it again and again!
