Sky is back with a new offer on MacBooks and this latest deal is ludicrously cheap.

Most people assume Sky is just about TV and broadband but the firm offers plenty of other tech including phones, tablets and laptops. You can even buy MacBooks from the company and there’s a reason why that could be a very tempting proposition.

Sky’s Mobile division is currently dishing out the MacBook Air for just £19 per month making this a seriously affordable way of owning Apple’s hugely popular laptop.

That price is based on you signing up for a 48-month contract with the total price – including a £2 upfront fee – costing £914.

There is also the option to switch things for a newer model after 36 months although you will have to sign a new deal to take advantage of this.

It’s a very tempting deal but you will need to be happy to take delivery of the older M1 Air which first launched back in 2020.

This is still a mighty machine but it has now been superseded by the fully rebooted M2 and M3 Airs which both get a new design, better screen very long battery life.

If having the latest and greatest Mac on your lap doesn’t bother you the M1 Air still comes highly recommend – it’s also the very last MacBook to feature the iconic wedge-shape look.

You can buy it in stunning Gold or Silver with a 256GB hard drive. It also offers up to 18 hours of battery life, a True Tone display that adapts depending on your surroundings and there’s a decent webcam and Touch ID fingerprint scanner. For bashing out those daily emails you also get Apple’s market-leading backlit keyboard and the Force Touch trackpad is better than any of ist Windows-powered rivals.

Apple won’t match this offer from Sky either as it no longer stocks this M1 laptop – you can only buy the M2 and M3 versions from the US firm’s stores. Sky clearly has a limited supply with the firm saying, “Hurry, get yours before it’s gone!”

It’s worth noting that other high street retailers, including Amazon, still have the M1 MacBook available with prices starting from £829 – that’s around £90 cheaper than Sky but you have to pay in one lump sum rather than splitting the cost over 48 months.
