A woman was left feeling seriously grossed out by her date’s bathroom habit, which turnd her off completely. His brutal text message after she left really sealed the deal
First impressions are everything in the dating world, but this bloke wasn’t scared to share his gross bathroom habits very early on.
His date has shared her fury online after he sent her a cruel message when she let him down gently following the disaster date. The rude response was even more baffling for the women given what she witnessed when they met up.
Taking to Reddit to share her ordeal, the unnamed woman explained that she initially met the man at a bar, and he’d asked her on a breakfast date – to which she agreed.
However, he then changed his mind according to the woman, and asked her to come over to his for a “movie night”. Things went from bad to worse from there.
She explained: “He originally said he wanted to do a breakfast date but then changed his mind later and insisted that I come to his place to watch a movie at night. He said he liked rom coms so I offered to show him my favorite one. When I entered his place, the dishes were dirty and piled high, he was wearing a baggy shirt and basketball shorts.”
He then apparently “insisted” they watched the movie in his room, claiming there was nowhere other than his bed to sit on.
“He slowly sneaks into finding a way to snuggle me. I hate it because I barely know this guy and his house is dirty and he seems to be forcing intimacy,” the woman claimed. “At one point he gets up to go to the bathroom attached to his bedroom and peed WITH THE DOOR OPEN. I took the chance to move to the floor to finish the movie.”
Disgusted by his bathroom habit, she told him she needed to leave once the film had finished, and he asked to see her the following night to which she told him she already had plans. “He tried to hug me at the door but I backed away, said goodnight, and left.”
However, when she was on the way home, she then received a text from the man that read: “You seemed uncomfortable when you left. Is everything ok?” To which she replied: “I think I just lost the spark from the other night.”
It was his brutal response that shocked her the most as he said: “Well maybe if you weren’t sleeping with HALF THE TOWN you wouldn’t have lost the spark!”
She then stated she wasn’t dating anyone or sleeping with anyone, and called him a “real charmer”. People were quick to share their opinions as one Reddit user wrote: “you should NEVER go to someone’s house if you don’t know them that well for this exact reason. That could have gone south fast,” while another simply said: “An absolute catch!!”
