A substance was smeared across several Jewish institutions
A man has been charged after a substance was smeared across Jewish institutions in North West London. Ionut-Cristian Bold, of no fixed address, was charged with a number of offences which took place between Thursday, September 4, and Thursday, September 11 this year, when a number of premises in Golders Green, North West London, had a substance smeared on them.
Bold was charged with six counts of racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage and one count of racially or religiously aggravated harassment without violence. He was also hit with three counts of destruction or damage to property, as well as one count of having an article with intent to destroy or damage property.
Superintendent Zubin Writer, who leads local policing in Barnet, Brent and Harrow, said: “We will always treat allegations of this nature extremely seriously and these charges follow an investigation by a team of local officers. We continue to offer support to local residents, including members of the Jewish community.”
Bold was remanded in custody to appear at Willesden Magistrates Court at 10am on Monday, (September 15).
