A dangerous Ealing teenager who sexually assaulted four women on the London Underground network has been jailed. Hadi Al Koumi, of Bideford Avenue, attacked each victim at stations or on trains in Central and West London between August 6 and August 8, 2024.

The 18-year-old preyed on a woman in in her 30s, as she boarded a rush hour Jubilee line train at St John’s Wood. Two days later he struck again, attacking a second victim, also in her 30s, from behind at Green Park.

As she turned to face him, the creep walked away but later turned back to wink at her. Hours later, the third woman, who is in her 40s, was assaulted in a similar manner at East Acton.

Then, at around 11.15pm, a fourth victim, in her 30s, was assaulted aboard a train between Greenford and Perivale station. Al Koumi had approached her and tried to start a conversation, before repeatedly ignoring requests to leave her alone.

The victim managed to escape after throwing a glass at him as the doors opened. Al Koumi was captured on CCTV in all four cases, and he was arrested by patrolling British Transport Police officers on August 27 of last year.

On Friday (September 12), he was sentenced to four years and eight months behind bars following a trial at Isleworth Crown Court. He was found guilty of one count of sexual assault, but had previously pled guilty to three more.

He was also handed a six-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a life-long signature on the Sex Offenders Register.

Detective Sergeant Matthew Nolan, of the British Transport Police, said: “Al Koumi took deliberate advantage of the rail network in order to assault multiple women for his own sexual gratification.

“He’s clearly a dangerous predator who has exhibited a disturbing and abhorrent pattern of offending towards women, so I’m grateful to see the sentencing handed down today, and I hope it can bring some sense of closure and comfort to the women he targeted. “There is zero-tolerance for sexual offences on the rail network, and we have uniformed patrols and specially-trained plain clothes officers on patrol at stations and on trains around the clock to keep the travelling public safe.

“We will continue to do everything in our power to bring offenders like Al Koumi to justice.”
