Prince Harry has reportedly had a significant change of heart over bringing his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, back to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex had previously declared that he feared for his children’s safety whilst in the UK following his legal dispute with the Home Office over his reduced security arrangements in the country after stepping back from Royal duties.

Speaking to the BBC back in May after losing his High Court appeal challenge, he stated: “I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point.” However, in a recent interview following his four-day visit to the UK last week, the Duke disclosed that Archie and Lilibet’s return to the UK might be nearer than anticipated.

When asked by the Guardian whether he would bring his children back to the UK, he replied: “I would. This week has definitely brought that closer.”

This comes after a week of attending various engagements in England connected to the Duke’s charities and patronages, alongside a meeting with King Charles at Clarence House. The Royal father and son spent 55 minutes together having tea for the first time in 19 months, reports the Express.

A source last week indicated the Duke is now more receptive to bringing his family back to his homeland.

They revealed to the Sunday Times: “He’s not given up hope on bringing his family back to the UK. He wants to be able to show his children where he grew up. He wants them to know their family here. He really would like to come back to the UK much more.”

The Duke has returned to America after his recent journey to Ukraine, which came after his visit to Britain.

Meghan revealed her husband’s location through a post on her brand’s Instagram stories, writing: “When your beau is back in town..”
