It’s less than 100 days until Christmas, and that means it’s the perfect time to start stocking up on some festive season goodies so you don’t have to cough up for them all at once.

With the cost of living crisis still around, we’re definitely all feeling the pinch, especially in the lead up to December. Luckily, we’ve spotted a few UK supermarkets that have slashed the price of Christmas chocolate tubs this week.

Leading the way is Morrisons, who have knocked £2.50 off the price of tubs of Quality Street, Roses, Heroes and Celebrations chocolates. According to popular Facebook page, Newfoodsuk, each tub is now £4.50 down from its usual price of £7.

Whether stocking up for Halloween, Christmas or the festive season in general, this deal is the perfect chance to save some money.

And Morrisons isn’t the only UK supermarket offering up some bargains, Tesco is currently selling 550g tubs of Roses and Heroes for £5.25 down from £7 for Clubcard Members. And they’ve slashed Celebrations even further to rival Morrisons, which are now £4.50 instead of £7.

In the comments of Newfoodsuk’s Facebook post some shoppers raved about the ‘bargain’ Morrisons deal, however, not everyone was as impressed complaining about the ‘shrinkflation’ and sizing of the Christmas chocolate tubs nowadays.

If you are looking to get more for your money, Marks & Spencer has brought back their 1.2kg Christmas chocolate tins that is being compared to Quality Street. The Big Mix Tin, which shoppers can still nab over on Ocado, is an assortment of colourful foil-covered chocolates, packed with toffees, caramels and creams.

Priced at £12, this huge tin is only £5 more than the standard 550g tub of Quality Streets.

While Cabury’s is selling a mega box of 20 Dairy Milk Winter Edition 100g Christmas Bars for £37 down from £44. Perfect for bulk buying stocking fillers and gifts for friends and family.
