The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, has been dropped as patron for several charities, including Prevent Breast Cancer, Teenage Cancer Trust and British Heart Foundation

These damning photographs show just how close Sarah Ferguson became to disgraced paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The pictures have emerged today after the Duchess of York, 65, was axed as patron for several charities, such as Prevent Breast Cancer, Teenage Cancer Trust and Children’s Literacy Charity, due to her links to Epstein. The duchess sent an email to Epstein in which she called him a “supreme friend,” it has emerged.

In one of the photographs, taken in February 2010, Sarah is seen posing with Epstein’s housekeeper Jun-Lyn Fontanilla and, in another, she is snapped smiling alongside the disgraced financier’s driver Jojo Fontanilla in the streets of Manhattan, New York City. A further image which has also emerged today shows Prince Andrew – Sarah’s former husband with whom she still lives – with Mr and Mrs Fontanilla.

Fergie’s reputation has taken a body blow this week amid the fresh bombshell. In her gushing message to Epstein in 2011, around one year after the pictures were taken, the Duchess of York called him a “steadfast, generous and supreme friend”. This came just weeks after Sarah had publicly disowning the vile billionaire.

The photographs were shared on public social media Facebook in 2010. One commenter wrote: “Wow! You are in the company of royalty!”

Julia’s House – a children’s hospice in Dorset and Wiltshire – was one of the first charities to distance themselves from Sarah Ferguson yesterday. It said it would no longer be appropriate for the duchess to hold the position considering her correspondence with Epstein, who was found dead in his prison cell in 2019.

In a statement, Julia’s House said: “Following the information shared this weekend on the Duchess of York’s correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has taken the decision that it would be inappropriate for her to continue as a patron of the charity. We have advised the Duchess of York of this decision and thank her for her past support.”

It was one of seven charities to cut ties with the duchess over the damning revelations. Others were said to be reviewing their positions following the publication of her grovelling messages to the notorious sex predator.

Pressure has since mounted on King Charles to expunge Sarah and Prince Andrew from even private family events, and find a way to finally evict them from Royal Lodge, their Windsor mansion.

A spokesman for the duchess has said: “She deeply regrets any association with him and abhors paedophilia. She had worked for many years to support vulnerable young people. Like many people she was taken in by his lies.”
