The child was found dead when police were called to a home

Two people have been charged with murder following the death of a three-year-old girl. Emergency services were called to a home on Pennine Way, Hayes, at around 6.10pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023 following reports of a child found dead.

The child was later identified as three-year-old Penelope Chandrie from Hayes. Police made a breakthrough and yesterday (Thursday, September 25) arrested two people.

They have both now been charged with murder in connection with Penelope’s death. Manpreet Jatana, 34, and Jaskiret Singh Uppal, 36, both of Pennine Way, Hayes will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, September 26).
