A man has revealed his secret sexual fantasy left his wife in tears after he admitted he had been hiding it for a decade but could no longer resist the temptation

A man has revealed his wife was horrified when he revealed his unusual sexual fantasy 10 years into their relationship – but he’s finding it hard to ignore his desires.

The unnamed man had been hiding the secret from his partner after fearing her reaction. But eventually, it became too much to bare and he spilled all to his wife who couldn’t believe what he was saying.

“I want to watch my wife sleep with another man, but she is completely against it,” he wrote. While uncommon, there are thousands of couples in the UK who are now exploring polyamory, and particularly this kind of fetish – which is referred to as “cuckolding” in the sex world.

The man goes on to say his wife began “crying” after he revealed his desire for her to sleep with another man, adding: “She was so disgusted, she made me feel like a dirty pervert.”

In a letter to The Sun’s Sexpert Georgie Culley, he added that he was “bored” of their sex life and wanted to spice things up in the bedroom.

And while the man’s desire is still there, the expert insists his fantasy should remain exactly that. “Her emotional reaction is a pretty firm no, and pushing her on it is likely to damage your trust and intimacy rather than bring you closer,” she wrote.

The pro suggested injecting more excitement into the bedroom by coming up with new ideas and being “more creative”.

While this kind of fantasy might surprise some, it’s becoming more popular. The British swinging scene now involves around 1.5 million people, suggesting a significant interest in consensual non-monogamy.

Shows like Channel 4’s Open House have opened up more conversation into the colourful sex lives of Brits, with the show seeing couples open up their relationships to new people in the bedroom.

A survey by telehealth company Hims & Hers in 2024 revealed that 10 percent of 3,500 participants wanted to engage in “cuckolding”.

The report also found that sixteen percent of people want to engage in sexual voyeurism, which involves watching others engage in sexual acts.

Georgie added: “If you approach this with curiosity and care, you may find your sex life becomes more thrilling than ever – just in a way that feels safe and exciting for both of you.”
