A 15-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed on a residential road in West London on Sunday, October 5. No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident.
He remains in a life-threatening condition after he was taken to hospital at 1.44pm yesterday following the Southall attack. A London Air Ambulance also attended the scene of the incident. It is believed that the boy was attacked by a group of three others. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: “Police were called at 1.44pm to Knowsley Avenue, Southall on Sunday, October 5 to reports of a disturbance. Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and located a 15-year-old boy with stab wounds.
“He was taken to the hospital by the London Ambulance Service where he remains in a life-threatening condition. It’s believed that the boy was assaulted by a group of three others.
“Enquiries remain ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage. Residents and those in the area can expect to see a large police presence throughout the evening. Please call police on 101 referencing CAD 3706/05OCT if you have any information.”
A London Ambulance spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.43pm on Sunday, October 5 to reports of an incident at Knowsley Avenue, Southall. We sent two ambulance crews, an incident response officer and a medic in a fast response car.
“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre.”
