A 15-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed on a high street in Kilburn yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, October 7). He was later arrested by police for possession of an offensive weapon.
The teenager was found with stab wounds on Kilburn High Road at around 5.15pm yesterday, after police were called to reports of a stabbing. His injuries were assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing in hospital.
He has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and remains in hospital. Police say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing. Photographs show a large police cordon in place and officers working at the scene of the crime.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: “Police were called at 17.14hrs on Tuesday, 7 October to reports of a stabbing on Kilburn High Road.
“A 15-year-old boy was found at Brondesbury Villas, Kilburn, and treated for stab wounds by the London Ambulance Service. He was taken to hospital where his injuries were deemed not to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“He was later arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and remains in hospital at this stage.
