If you’re looking for a party-ready perfume to shop ahead of Christmas, YSL’s cult-favourite Black Opium has been discounted on Debenhams for a limited time
With Christmas and party season well on its way, now is the perfect chance to treat yourself or your loved ones to a new fragrance. And luckily for us, Debenhams has knocked 25% off YSL’s Black Opium for a limited time.
This cult-favourite perfume is adored by beauty lovers and best known for its seductive, long-lasting scent. Whether you’re restocking on your signature fragrance or looking to try out a new one, this deal is not one to miss.
It’s not very often we see Black Opium on sale, and now the 30ml bottle has been reduced from £70 to £52.50. This isn’t the only deal we’ve seen on luxury perfumes, with LookFantastic having slashed the price of Armani Diamonds Eau de Parfum by 50%, and Boots knocking £27.50 off Jimmy Choo’s Flash Eau De Parfum.
The top notes feature a pear accord and mandarin essence, which are then combined with middle notes of vanilla, orange blossom, and white flowers to create a creamy, floral, almost gourmand fragrance.

This is followed up with base notes of black coffee accord, cedarwood essence, white musk, and patchouli, which bring the rich and sultry smell that lingers on the skin all day.
With an average 5-star rating on the Debenhams, shoppers can’t get enough of this luxury fragrance. One shopper wrote: “Absolutely love the smell. Always get great compliments when I wear it. My favorite presume so far!”
A second commented: “Run, don’t walk, and buy this! I get compliments everywhere strangers stop me and ask what I’m wearing. It’s the kind of scent that is sexy and timeless.”While a third added: “My go-to perfume for nights out. It is elegant, a little bold, and always gets me compliments. I love how confident it makes me feel! I would really like it if they created a set of these perfumes.”
Not everyone agreed, however, with one shopper complaining that the vanilla scent was too overwhelming. They wrote: “It’s really heavy with an overpowering smell of vanilla. Such a shame as costs a fortune.”
