London may also see fog early-to-mid November, according to The Met Office
Temperatures are set to take a dip in the capital. According to forecasters down at the BBC, next Friday (October 24) will be a chilly 13C, a large drop from 16C temperatures we’re likely to see today (Friday, October 17).
Before then things won’t be too miserable with the sun set to make an appearance on Tuesday (October 15), Wednesday (October 16), and Thursday (October 17). The Met Office’s forecast doesn’t stretch to next Friday, but like the BBC it’s predicting a decline in temperatures with next Thursday predicted to be 14C.
London may also see fog early-to-mid November, says the Met Office’s long range forecast. It reads: “There are just hints that a drier interlude may unfurl across more southern areas towards mid-month, which could increase the incidence of overnight fog.”
It’s not just London which will see thermostats take a dip – areas in Kent, Essex, and Surrey will see a change too. The same pattern can be seen in Birmingham and Liverpool.
But until next week we should brace ourselves for a spot of rain. The Met Office forecasts a windy Sunday, ‘with rain moving slowly eastward, occasionally heavy. Bright with showers to start Monday before becoming cloudy with heavy rain. Sunny intervals Tuesday with occasional showers. Temperatures around average.’
