Sarah Ferguson and ex-husband Prince Andrew have agreed to leave the property in exchange for two separate residences, according to reports, following the latest scandal

Sarah Ferguson will no longer on This Morning and Loose Women, according to reports today.

Fergie, 66, was once hailed as a “saviour” of ITV’s daytime schedule but she was pulled into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, which has swirled around her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, for more than one decade. She has been dropped by a slew of charities, including the British Heart Foundation (BHS), following the fallout over the emergence of an email to the disgraced paedophile.

And now it is understood ITV has dealt Ms Ferguson a fresh blow as she’s reportedly been ditched by the broadcaster. It had used the children’s author as a guest host and editor on This Morning, presenting alongside Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in November 2023, weeks after Holly Willoughby found out she was at the centre of a bizarre plot by former security guard Gavin Plumb to kidnap, rape and murder her.

An insider said: “Fergie won’t be appearing on ITV again, there is nothing in the pipeline for her. There was once such high hopes for her, she appeared on This Morning as a guest presenter and contributor, as well as Loose Women. Fergie did a lot with ITV for a time and was always part of the gang. She was very much part of the plans at ITV but no more.”

But the royal was “adored” by the broadcaster’s bosses when she was brought in for guest roles. She was praised for her “relatable” nature, and was described as “very likeable” to viewers.

However, the mum of two was criticised earlier this year when a resurfaced email revealed she once referred to convicted paedophile Epstein as a “supreme friend”. The email to Epstein came weeks after Fergie told reporters she would “never have anything to do with” the sex offender again, according to reports.

It led to her being cut by several charities, and now it seems Sarah won’t appear on the ITV flagship shows anymore. Speaking to the Daily Mail, the insider added: “There will be no more Fergie on ITV, there are no longer any current plans or anymore anytime in the future. She’s done with the channel now.”

Amid the outrage, Andrew, 65, and Sarah have agreed to leave Royal Lodge in exchange for two separate residences, according to reports. The King’s brother is said to be in talks with Charles’s representatives about leaving Royal Lodge voluntarily after the furore over the “peppercorn” rent for the 30-room mansion, where he has lived for more than 20 years.

Sarah and Andrew divorced in 1996, after a 10-year marriage. She has lived with her ex-husband at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park since then, while she forged her own career in children’s literature and broadcasting.

The grandmother was hailed as something of a “saviour” after stepping in to support This Morning, and work with Loose Women happened before and afterwards. Speaking at the time, Ms Ferguson said: “I have appeared on This Morning before, but this time I am coming back in a very different role. I love live TV and am an enormous fan of the show.”

The Mirror has contacted ITV for comment.
