All of the TfL lines that will be shut this weekend with London Underground routes closed

The closures will affect Tube, Overground, Trams and the DLR

A whole host of closures and disruptions will be affecting the Transport for London (TfL) network this weekend, threatening to scupper Londoners’ Halloween celebrations. The closures will affect Tube, Overground, Trams and the DLR. Part of the Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines will be closed due to track faults and leaf fall.

There will be London Overground services on the Mildmay, Weaver and Windrush lines hit by disruption too. While it won’t impact this weekend there are also upcoming London bus strikes to be aware of. During these strikes, little or no service is expected on the following routes: 13 (24hr route), 23 (24hr route), 31, 218, 295 (24hr route), 452 and N31.

Some bus routes in South West, West and North West London will be disrupted during the following times:

  • From 5am on Tuesday, November 4 until 5am on Friday, November 7
  • From 5am on Friday, November 14 until 5am on Saturday, November 15
  • From 5am on Monday, November 17 until 5am on Wednesday, November 19
  • From 5am on Wednesday, November 26 until 5am on Saturday, November 29

Tube closures

Metropolitan line

Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31

No service between Aldgate and Baker Street and minor delays on the rest of the line due to engineering work to fix a track fault.

Piccadilly line

Friday, October 31

No service between Rayners lane and Uxbridge to protect wheels from damage in times of high leaf fall.

Friday, October 31 until Saturday, November 1

No Friday Night Tube service between Hammersmith and Heathrow due to track work.

Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3

No service between Acton Town and Heathrow including Saturday Night Tube due to track work.

No service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.

Overground

Mildmay line

Sunday, November 2

No service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction until 09.30am due to National Rail work.

Weaver line

Thursday, October 30

No service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 10.45pm due to Network Rail work.

DLR

Friday, October 31

No service between Prince Regent and Beckton due to works.

Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2

No service between Tower Gateway and Shadwell, and between Canning Town and Beckton due to works.

London Trams

Sunday, November 2

No service between Wimbledon and Therapia Lane due to engineering works.
