London is set for warm temperatures this weekend, however we will be hit with on-off showers for the next fortnight. This Saturday (April 6) will be a warm 20C, but will come with non stop rain from 5pm onwards, despite being sunny up until then, according to forecasts from both the BBC and the Met Office.
However the sunny times aren’t to last as both forecasters are predicting that it will be on and off wet for the next two weeks. The sun is set to make a limited appearance, but overwhelmingly there will be showers with differing degrees of wind.
The Met Office’s long range forecast spanning between April 18 and May 2 says ‘rain and showers are likely at times, but there is also a reasonable chance of some drier and sunnier spells of weather’. The BBC’s upcoming forecast can be found below.

While ‘this evening and the first part of the night will see a band of rain push across from the west. There will then be cloudy skies, strong winds and showery outbreaks of rain for the rest of the night’.
Tomorrow (April 5) however ‘will see the cloud and rain clear to the east in the morning. This will leave a mix of sunshine and showers, these becoming more isolated towards the end of the day. Very mild’.
While Saturday (April 6) through to Monday (April 8) reads: “Saturday will see a dry and very mild day, with plenty of sunshine and some variable cloud for much of the day. It will be windy, however. Continuing windy on Sunday with sunny spells, variable cloud and isolated showers. Monday will see variable cloud and sunny spells in the morning. Cloudier later on with a risk of rain. Easing winds.”
