A West London man has been charged with raping a woman in a park in the early hours of Sunday morning (November 2). Travis Moore, 36, is accused of attacking the alleged victim on Godolphin Recreation Ground, in Slough.
Thames Valley Police believe the incident happened at around 1.30am. Moore, of Great West Road, Hounslow, was arrested later that day and charged with rape and attempted rape against the same person.
He has been remanded in custody by magistrates and will appear for his next hearing at Reading Crown Court on December 1.
In a statement, the force said: “Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been charged with one count of rape and one count of attempted rape against the same victim.
“Travis Moore, aged 36, of Great West Road in London, was arrested on Sunday (2/11) and charged the following day (3/11). He has been remanded in custody and his next hearing will be in Reading Crown Court on Monday 1 December.
“The charges are in connection with an alleged incident which occurred on Godolphin Recreation Ground in Slough at approximately 1.30am on the morning of Sunday 2 November.”
