Andrew’s ex-wife Fergie has shared what she believes to be behind the ex-prince’s downfall and why she is more scared for him amid the scandal surrounding the pair

Sarah Ferguson has shared what she blames for Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s total fall from grace.

The former-royal couple have had their titles removed and will be booted out of their Royal Lodge home amid the shocking scandal surrounding the divorced couple. Fury has erupted over Andrew’s relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and accusations he had sex with Virginia Giuffre when she was a teen. Andrew has vehemently denied all allegations against him.

He is understood to be moving to the private Sandringham Estate and Sarah has been told to figure out her own living arrangements. Despite this, Fergie revealed why she fears more for her ex-husband.

An insider, speaking to The Sun, has claimed the couple now spend most of their time apart at the mansion but Fergie often discusses her fears for what will come next.

Despite her uncertain future, the source claimed Sarah is more concerned about her ex-husband and revealed what could be to blame for his downfall. They said: “She is particularly fearful for Andrew as she knows he was at the centre of the Epstein scandal.

“She has talked about ‘dark forces’ potentially targeting him.” They added: “It is probably far-fetched but she is s***-scared and massively on edge.”

Fergie’s future and where she will live appears to be up in the air. An expert had claimed the disgraced ex-royal could leave the UK altogether, as the public outcry shows little sign of diming soon.

Phil Dampier, writing for Woman’s Day, claimed Fergie might opt to join her sister Jane in Australia. Jane, who is reported to live in New South Wales Central Coast, is only a year older than Sarah, but has lived on the other side of the world since she was a teenager.

He said: “Sarah’s sister Jane recently came over to comfort her, and she has suggested she could always move to be near her in Australia. Fergie has always loved Oz and Aussies, and some still like her.”

However, there would be a major drawback to the potential plan, the expert acknowledged, being thousands of miles away from her two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as well as her grandchildren. Andrew and Sarah’s children will hold onto their royal titles.

The princesses have not publicly appeared much following the breakdown around their parents, but Princess Beatrice recently broke her silence over a new job. Hours after it was revealed her uncle, King Charles, had stripped Andrew of all regal titles Beatrice landed herself a new job.

Now, she is the Deputy Patron of The Outward Bound Trust. She joins her uncle, Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, who is the Royal Patron. She had previously served as a Trustee for six years.
