Police have shared images of two people they want to speak to after a teenage train passenger was robbed of his phone. The victim was travelling between Purley and Clapham Junction at around 9pm on October 9 when he was approached.

Two boys demanded the youngster hand over his mobile whilst inferring they had a knife. The pair then forced him off the train at the latter stop and made him sign out of his iCloud account.

This disables the ability to track the device via the Find My Phone app. The British Transport Police (BTP) is now hoping can identify two people of interest.

A statement reads: “Detectives would like to speak to those involved as they believe they may have information which could help with their investigation.”

The CCTV images appear to show two teenage boys. They are both wearing black head coverings and black Nike jackets.

The appeal says: “Detectives investigating a robbery at Clapham Junction railway station have today released these images in connection.
