While picking a seat in a room might seem like a small decision, one woman has revealed that your preferred choice of chair can tell you a lot about yourself in just a few seconds

A woman has shared how the chair you’re the most drawn to in a conference room can tell you a lot about yourself in a unique personality test. Personality tests are a great way to find out things about yourself that you may have otherwise had no clue about. Rather than choosing options which may reflect what you believe yourself to be like as a person, you’re confronted with questions that are a little trickier, ensuring you answer them completely honestly to get the most accurate outcome.

A woman named Victoria, who often shares unique personality tests on her TikTok account, has urged over 1.6 million viewers to ‘pick a chair’ in a conference room, as the chair you pick can tell you something new about yourself.

“Psychological test without thinking too much,” Victoria said at the start of the video. “Choose a chair that catches your attention the most.”

On the video, a photo of what looks to be a conference room is show. A man is seen smiling, sitting in a chair on one of the edges of the table. Meanwhile, there are nine free chairs places around the remaining of the table, four on each long side of the table and one right opposite the man on the other shorter side of the long table.

A whiteboard is shown on the wall behind the man, while the door into the room is located on the wall to his left. There’s also a large plant in the corner between these two walls. You cannot see what’s on the other, presumably two, walls of the room.

All of the nine free chairs are numbered, and are the ones Victoria is now urging viewers to pick out one from, as the chair you pick could tell you a lot about your personality, as she went on to described what each chair could tell you about yourself.

What your chosen chair says about you

If you picked chair number one, right next to the man in the photo, Victoria said: “You’re drawn to being close to decisions and information. You sense shifts in power, and understand where things are heading.”

She went on to say that the strengths in your personality are loyalty, strategic thinking, and discretion. Victoria also stated that you’re likely to anticipate needs and help to keep everything on track.

Meanwhile, if you picked chair number two, you most likely feel comfortable with being within the circle of influence, but like to keep some distance. You value stability, and often manage to see the big picture. This means, that your strengths are your reliability, flexibility, and team work. You often balance observation with participation.

For chair three, Victoria went on to explain: “You prioritise safety and risk management. You naturally notice problems before they happen.”

She then moved on with the strengths, which are precision, self-control, and resilience. Those who picked this chair often spot warning signs calmly too, and stay focused under pressure.

If you instead picked chair number four, Victoria predicted that you’re naturally a sceptical person, and prefer to test things yourself. You also value independent thinking and personal boundaries.

However, if you were drawn to the chair right opposite the man, chair number five, Victoria said: “You’re autonomous and love to influence through ideas. You can’t stand confusion or slowness.”

Meanwhile, she went on to say that your strengths most likely are your leadership skills, courage, and energy. You might inspire others to raise their standards and push projects forward.

If you picked chair six, she said: “You like having a broad view and time to process things, you don’t seek the spotlight. You prefer independence and deep analysis.”

She went on to say that your strengths are systematic thinking, spotting patterns, and staying calm, while bringing fresh perspectives and creative solutions when things feel like they’re stuck.

Meanwhile, if you were more drawn to chair seven, Victoria predicted that you value stability and know how to manage your energy wisely.

“You’re the group’s steady support,” she said, before revealing that your strengths are consistency, having attention to detail, and self control.” She went on to argue that you’re the foundation that gives structure, trust, and balance to the team.

Victoria then said: “If you picked chair eight, you focus on group harmony and well-being. You quickly sense others’ emotions and motivations.”

This means that your strengths are empathy, social intelligence, and negotiation skills. You often help solve conflicts, build consensus, and protect relationships.

For the final chair, number nine, Victoria went on to say that you’re most likely thrive when learning new leaderships, and often turn challenges into opportunities. Your strengths include initiative, flexibility, and quick learning.

“You grow from every experience and turn it into real progress,” she concluded.
