A woman was left in stitches when she went into her daughter’s bedroom to give it a tidy up and found a personal product that certainly shouldn’t have been there
A mum was left in stitches after she walked into her daughter’s bedroom and noticed an unusual addition to her doll’s house.
Many children absolutely love playing with dollhouses, as they can assign roles to their toys, dress them up in different outfits, and get lost in a world of imagination. But when one mum hilariously noticed that her daughter had taken something from her bathroom to use as a hat, she was left laughing.
“I honestly don’t know how she got it…it’s right at the back of our bathroom cupboard”, Carla Freeman captioned her clip, dubbing the situation as “inappropriate”.
“I’ve just come in to tidy Etta’s bedroom and I’ve got to show you what I’ve just found”, Carla laughed, writing over the video “world’s most inappropriate hat”. When the video stopped on the toy mouse, she exclaimed: “That! Is my Mooncup!”
Many in the comments didn’t know what a Mooncup was, so for those who don’t know, it’s a soft, silicone menstrual cup designed by women as a convenient, safe and eco-friendly alternative to tampons and pads. And sneaky Etta had somehow found it at the back of her mum’s bathroom cupboard.
In the comments, other mums shared their hilarious stories of their kids finding something their sanitary products. One wrote: “My son found a box of tampons and drew happy faces on all of them he was so happy with his mouse family.” Another shared: “My now 14-year-old used to cover himself in my pads and say he was a ninja”, followed by a crying with laughter face.
Someone else shared a situation that left her cringing, writing: “My son took mine to nursery as an actual hat! Because my husband didn’t know what it was, so let him!” Another TikToker admitted: “When I was a kid I made an Easter bonnet which had tampons dangling off like an Australian cork hat”, with someone else sharing: “When my daughter was little she woke up before me one day and stuck all over her bedroom window were my winged sanitary towels.”
