There are long tailbacks on the M25 as part of the Dartford Crossing has been closed off for repair works.
Queues of traffic spanning in three directions have now backed up with “the East Tunnel is closed for repairs to an expansion joint” on Monday morning, November 17, National Highways said.
“The West (smaller tunnel) is open.
“There is no access to Dartford Crossing for vehicles over 4.8 metres (tall)…. congestion (stretches) back to J2 of M25.”
Those stuck in traffic heading northbound are already experiencing delays of up to 40 minutes.
