Meghan has raised eyebrows after celebrity astrologer Angela Pearl shared a letter appearing to be from the Duchess, in which she uses her royal cypher and hints at another faux royal tour
Meghan has come under fire for seemingly once again using her royal cypher, more than five years after she quit royal life. On this occasion, Meghan appears to have sent a letter to a celebrity psychic using paper embellished with her letterhead – and she also hinted that she and Harry would be embarking on another quasi-royal tour.
Angela Pearl, an astrologer based in Australia, joined the couple for what she described as a “special evening” in October when they were in New York.
Angela shared a post on Instagram showing her posing with the couple, followed by a photograph of the correspondence she says she received.

In the letter dated October 24, which bears the Duchess’s royal cypher – a cursive M topped with a crown – the couple apparently wrote to Ms Pearl: “We want to thank you for joining us … Your energy and insight were such a welcome addition.”
After a paragraph redacted by the astrologer, they added: “On a separate note, we hope your family in Ukraine remain safe, and we look forward to staying in touch, especially as we look to visit Australia again.”
In her accompanying caption to the post, Angela wrote: “Still in awe of this special evening. Thank you, Prince Harry and Meghan, for the warm invitation and inspiring conversation.”
Harry and Meghan visited Australia in 2018 as part of their first overseas tour together after getting married. They announced during the trip that Meghan was expecting their first child, Prince Archie, now six.
The suggestion of a potential second trip there, albeit not as working royals, comes after the Princess of Wales suggested earlier this year that she would like to take her three children there. Speaking at a St Patrick’s Day engagement with the Irish Guards in March, Kate told Corporal Adam Hamilton, an Australian reservist, that she would love to return Down Under.

“It’s finding time to do that,” she said. “But I love to travel – yes, it’s a long flight. But I love the Middle East because that’s familiar to me growing up. There are so many opportunities now to travel, I think it’s brilliant to experience it.
“We tend to go further afield when it’s official visits – it’s being able to carve out time to experience these countries in a more private capacity…It’s making sure that you can combine a bit of work with the children. I might see you down there!”
In September, Australia’s PM Anthony Albanese said he was “hopeful” that William and Kate would visit – adding that there is always a “standing invitation” for the Royal Family. The future king and queen were last in Australia in April 2014 with a then-nine-month old Prince George.
