A woman couldn’t believe the shape of her parcel when it arrived from Vinted – and it gave the woman behind the counter a serious laugh after they made awkward eye contact
A woman was left blushing when she went to collect what she thought was a Christmas jumper from a parcel shop – only to find something of a totally different shape.
In an amusing Facebook post, a woman joked that a Vinted seller had ‘done the dirty’ on her pal by sending her innocent and festive jumper in an extremely phallic-shaped package. She posted a picture of the parcel and explained: “My friend Danielle had ordered a Christmas jumper and this is how it arrived.”
The jumper had been wrapped up in a rude-looking package, so it looked like something totally different had been sent. So we’re not surprised that Danielle was a bit flustered when picking the item up!
Danielle said: “The delivery lady just gave me this. She looked me dead in the eyes and just burst out laughing”.
Her friend wrote: “This certainly made me smile and I hope it does for you too. If it did, give it a share for me, please, and help spread some joy. Have a great day, everyone”.
She also shared a screenshot of the conversation with the seller, where Danielle had explained that it made her laugh.
“It honestly didn’t look quite as rude as that when I dropped it off,” the seller claimed, clearly messing with them and enjoying the fact that the prank had worked.
We can only imagine what the postal service people thought when they were handling that package!
In the comments, other people shared their embarrassing packaging fails – but some of them were totally unintentional.
One woman wrote: “I once ordered a can of flea spray for my cat. Missed the actual delivery, so had to go to the post office to collect.
“It was taped up, this mahoosive cylindrical monster looking to all intents and purposes like the thickest, widest girthed 12-inch super duper!! Don’t think I have left a sorting office as quickly in my life!!”
Another man shared: “My friend picked up a box of things I didn’t need any more. I wrote ‘big d**** inside’ on the side of the box.
“He called me up, saying people were laughing at him and giving him dirty looks. Then he got home and realised why. Best prank ever”.
Someone said that if they were Danielle, they would’ve had to open the parcel in front of the woman at the counter to prove that it wasn’t anything untoward inside.
“I would have to insist she wait until I’d opened it in front of her so she didn’t continue delivering my post with a dirty thought in her head,” they penned.
